Haiti Mission Share Time

This coming Sunday, Oct. 9th we will be sharing about our experience in Haiti.  There really is no way to describe what it was really like down there.  There are things we saw that will never leave my mind.  It is terrible to know that just a few miles away there is a country that has about 80% of its population that has absolutely nothing.  One of the things I realized this week was life soon goes back to normal when you return home.  We have created a enomorous amount of responsibilities for ourselves here in America that we get so caught up in them that we don't have time to think about anything else.  And unfortuately that means God too.  God and anything that God wants us to do gets put on the backburner in our lives.  That breaks my heart in my own life as well as many others.  God deserves our best and anything that he has called us to and the commands we have from Scripture.  Haiti is just another place in the world that needs to hear the hope of Jesus.  It may not be where God is calling you, but he is at least calling you to go next door.  There is no one that has given their hearts to God that He gives a free pass.  Jesus told the disciples of His day to Go, and that commandments applies just as much to us as it does to them.  Not only go, but go and make disciples. Who are you telling about the saving grace of Jesus Christ and what are you doing to help them comtinue to become a disciple of Jesus Christ.  Don't do like so many have for generations and just throw them to the wolves.  We need each other and God wants to give you the blessing of the opportunity to lead someone in the process of becoming just like Him.
