I would like to extend a very special "Thank  you" to all of our cast and crew, volunteers and parents for making our Kids4Christ / Youth Christmas Program a huge success!!  

During this busy Christmas season we are overwhelmed by the planning, shopping, events and parties.  But there is a bigger picture here that sometimes gets overlooked.  If 15 years from now only one child remembers that they stood on stage at Barnwell Baptist Church and presented the Christmas story to their family and friends and that Jesus was, and still is, the most important part of Christmas - you have made a difference!!   

Thank you again and may God's greatest blessing be upon you and your family this Christmas season.

Sunday, December 4th was hectic and awesome!!  All day long the whole church was alive with one activity after another.  For everyone that participated, worked, enjoyed or visited us yesterday, thank you for making this day of events such a huge success.  It is always wonderful to be a part of everything that goes on in God's house, but this Sunday was extra special and I know that God was smiling over everything that was done in His name yesterday!!  God bless and thank you for being a part of the ministries here at Barnwell Baptist Church.

Trunk - N - Treat 2011

Again this year the Trunk-N-Treat was a huge success!!  I saw alot of familiar faces, many new faces, and some pretty scary faces!!  But most importantly we were able to offer a safe and fun alternative to the traditional trick-or-treating.

Thank you to everyone who participated in any way to make this ministry go off without a hitch.  As always, we could not do where we do here at Barnwell Baptist Church without the faithful servants that God has blessed us with!!

I want to thank you for allowing me the privilege of having your children in Kids4Christ Worship on Sundays mornings and sharing God's Word with them.  It is always so much fun to watch the children as they give their interpretation of the events and people in the Bible.  

Yesterday our lesson was on Noah and the ark.  Of course the kids favorite part was the rainbow and every one of them knew it's meaning.  Just think, when your children see a beautiful rainbow after a rainstorm they are also seeing God's promise at work.  They know that God placed the rainbow in the sky as a reminder that He would never again destroy the earth with flood.  This is very exciting to me!!

We also played a game about the animals that were on the ark and others did an experiment with rainbows.  Ask you children about what they learned in Kids4Christ Worship - you may be amazed at their answers.  And if they give you some "off the wall" descrition of the lesson, drop me an email and I will fill you in on what the topic for the day was.  Most of the time they are right on the money.  Other days, not so much.
