Church Secretary

Fred and Robyn Cohron and their family have attended Barnwell Baptist Church since 2005.  Robyn joined our staff as Church Secretary in 2007 and Fred joined our Deacon body in 2008.  

She serves the Lord in our church ministry as our Children's Director.  Since she has a love for sharing the gospel with children she also teaches Kids4Christ Worship and is the Sparks Director and Secretary in our AWANA Ministry. 

Fred and Robyn married in 1998.  Together they share a family of 6 children with 6 grandchildren.  They currently have 2 children attending J. Larry Newton - Samantha, age 8, and Freddie, age 6, and 12 year old Morgan is a 7th grader at Fairhope Middle School.  The whole family is very involved in the ministries at Barnwell.  "There is nothing we enjoy more than spending time with our family, this includes our church family.  The Lord has truly blessed us with a loving and caring church family here at Barnwell.  The Lord has placed all of us in this place, at this time, for a purpose.  In this place, at this time, my ministry at Barnwell is a huge part of that purpose."   Jeremiah 29:11  For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
